Eating and exercising. Living and breathing. Resting. Being set free in being the person God created you to be. It’s a new season with pumpkins and spice and all things nice, but do you feel like you’re still just in the same rut, going around in the same cul-de-sac of stupidity but have this sense of just freedom but can’t seem to break through to it? You’re not alone! I’m right there with you! How about we gather round the table and/ or go for a walk together and grow stronger and break free together..to be strong and beautiful….all the while pulling on God. He’s that spark you can see! Come on over and let’s have some Pumpkin Bread together!
If anything ‘I am a child of God.’ That is a new song we have been singing, or belting out, at church. It’s so freeing and refreshing and mind renewing to just be reminded that I, and you, are children of the King most high (so we are Royal!) and that we have a good good father who calls us beloved, beautiful, abundantly free!
For some, the word father can mean something bad and just rub you the wrong way. You are not alone, but know this- the word Father is a good word and you ‘are loved by Him, that’s who you are, that’s who you are!’
If you’re like me, you are super excited that it is football season!
It’s such a fun time and great excuse to get together with friends – dressing in your team colors (the beautiful Garnet and Gold) and cheering on your favorite team (Go NOLES!!). It’s even fun to have that occasional rivalry with someone, too! Keeps it interesting, hopefully your team comes out on top, though!
You can watch it alone, sure, but when the players make a good play, catch an awesome throw, run over the line for a touchdown and thread the football through the two goal posts, don’t you want to get up and high five someone next to you, look at them and scream in excitement ‘Aaaahhh, did you just see that, Aaaah’?
